Interclub Supported Charities

The Charleston Men's Interclub Golf Association retains a small percentage of every entry fee throughout the year in order to be in a position to distribute a sizeable check to 1 or 2 local charities each year. The presentation of the check normally takes place at the January tournament so that all the participants are there to share in the spirit of giving. The Interclub has given over $75,000 to charities in the local Charleston SC area. Click HERE for an historical list of charities The Interclub has supported over the years.

In 2024, the Interclub members once again were able to give to two different charities that support the low country area: First Tee-Greater Charleston and Holy City Missions.

First Tee-Greater Charleston, which was established in 2008, is a local 501(c)(3) serving young people, ages 5-18, from all walks of life. They utilize on-course, in-school, and community programs to teach the game of golf and its inherent values to more than 17,000 children each year in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.
But they’re more than a golf program....they’re a youth development organization backed by enthusiastic donors, coaches, and volunteers who want to give Charleston Area young people every possible advantage.
